About Moi

I'm a 34 year old woman who loves life!  I try to find the good in all situations; sometimes it's hard, but you've got to try.

I married my best friend on July 10, 2010 and sometimes I worry that it's just too good to be true. To find someone I can truly just be myself around, hold nothing back and be even happier the next day more than I was the day before? I didn't think it was possible, but you proved me wrong Joe, and I love you for that!

But, worrying is a misuse of our imagination, therefore I'll channel the worry into just being in the moment.

I taught English for 8 years and decided to try something a little different.
I am a happy housewife~aka domestic goddess~ and a working SAHM. I'm an advisor at AdvoCare and just love helping others reach their full potential.  I am somewhat obsessed with cooking; not only food that tastes incredibly good, but food that's good for us.
Joey's favorite: Salad Caprese

I love spending time with family and friends.

My sister Brianna, me, & my girlfriend Alison.

My girl Kristin
My girlfriend and matron of honor, Ann.

There's never enough time to spend with those who make you happy.  I love throwing dinner parties and feel as though the time flies by too fast every time!

I love being blonde & I love pink.

I love me some vino Santa Margherita is my all time fave!!

I like to take pictures & write.

Our Fur Babies!

Sadie-AKA: Sadie Lady, Sadie Girl, Puppers, Bad Dog (when counter-surfing), Sade, Pupperdo...I adopted her before I met Joe at a local animal shelter.  She was a 6 month old energetic puppy.  With some extra help from Joe, she is really a great dog.  Unfortunately back in March 2009, Sadie began having seizures.  After many vet visits, it was determined that she is epileptic.  She has to take medicine twice a day, and never miss a dose. If she does, the seizures return.  We've switched her diet to an organic dog food and I think that may have helped as well. For now, she licks the air incessantly. Literally, we cannot get her to stop. *** Sadly, in November 2014, we had to say goodbye to Sadie girl. Miss you girl.

And that would be Miss Holly. Otherwise known as: Wallers, Holly Wolly, Wally, Consuela, Ratatouille...confused? :)  She's our little baby who just turned 1 on September 3rd.  She absolutely loves the sunshine, is a total lapdog, snuggles UNDER the covers and buries herself under blankets.  I think she actually likes the little sweaters/vests I put on her because she is cold!! She's a barker, but more of a licker than anything else.  She's a total daddy's girl.

On January 11 of 2013 we welcomed our little love, Brooke Lynn.

On January 17, 2015 (yes, almost exactly 2 years later!) We welcomed our son, Bradley Joseph.

I try to keep things real, but I won't air out all of my personal business on this tiny slice of the world wide web.  I love deeply, with my whole heart, and put my all into everything that I do.

My 30th birthday (July 25)

So if you're looking for a little bit of this and that, while smiling & laughing, follow along!

Be Happy.  :)

  3. Awww...I'm glad to have found someone else who is where I may be in regards to having an epileptic dog! My little Teacup Yorkie has been having seizures (not frequent enough they tell me to be overly concerned, although I am!), so they don't want to do anything permanent yet concerning meds, but it's a strong possibility for the future.

  10. It's amazing how small the world is. I happened to see your comment on Sunshine's blog post about the picture she shared when she was in Buffalo, NY. I happen to live in the same area, too (about half an hour north of Buffalo)! Your blog is pretty cool, so I'll have to keep on reading!! :)
