Black Friday's Fancies

I hope that you all ate way too much food yesterday had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I did not venture out to experience any "Black Friday" deals, did you?  I am certainly checking out online deals, so far I haven't found anything worth buying.  Hubby & I have a relaxing weekend, aka the calendar is empty! I'm very excited about that. Maybe we will finally get to the movie theater!!
As for today, I link up with {AV} at long distance loving.  Today's theme was of course Black Friday.  I definitely went with some basic black with a touch of hot red lips & some fun animal print.
Heck yeah, I'd rock this number while cleaning my house!! hehe Happy Friday!

Perfect Pumpkin Bread

I tried out a Food Network recipe, but made some changes.  It's soft, moist, and has tons of pumpkin flavor!! The following makes enough for two loaves.  {One to keep & one to give away!}

Pre-heat oven to: 350 degrees

Grease 2 loaf pans {I used cooking spray}

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, lightly bean
  • 16 ounces canned unsweetened pumpkin
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 2ish teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice
  • 2/3 cup water

Directions:
 Stir together sugar and oil. Stir in eggs and pumpkin. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. Blend dry ingredients and water into wet mixture, alternating. Divide batter between two loaf pans. Bake for about an hour or until both loaves are browned & the toothpick comes out clean of batter. Let them cool completely before you take them out.
It's the perfect gift to give to those whom you cannot spend the actual day of Thanksgiving with.
  Much love!! Happy Turkey Day!!

I  am looking forward to Thursday, so that I can

We are spending it with Joe's parents this year.

And I'm officially ready to start thinking about Christmas.
Christmas Crafts. I just want to craft something!
l

So pretty!!
How easy does this look??

And of course, I need to start thinking about gifts for my love!

I wish I could buy you this dear.

And of course some Christmas treats to be made:

Every year I say that I want to make these, but I never do.
Will this be my year? Are they super hard?

I've been trying really hard to "enjoy the now" so I think that I waited long enough before I started going too Christmas cray cray.  I just love everything about it.  So, in my eyes, I have held out long enough!!
My cookie party is less than a month away--woo hoo!
