Fashion Friday: Fall Looks

Happy Friday!

I have been really making efforts to dress up most days...doesn't always happen, but I do love getting out of the yoga pants and tee shirt {aka mom outfit}

Layers are essential here in NY.

Infinity scarf & Arabesque earrings with a striped tee.

This was Halloween and I received a "holiday cup" from Starbucks. Whoa. #slowitdownbux

Cardigans, statement tee & statement necklace are going to be my go to pieces for sure! Throw on some sparkle studs and some lippy, and I feel like I am somewhat put together. The Ezra statement is still a fave!

A date night look was a simple Old Navy swing dress, taupe boots and statement earrings. I also had taupe boots on as well.  Loved feeling feminine and flirty for Fall.  We got to see Tom Green--so funny!

When the temps dropped, I was excited to wear my new top from Banana Republic I got awhile back. I paired it with the Sutton necklace (mixed metal)

This was a simple city chic look from our Toronto getaway.  Love this horn necklace & my silver hammered wire hoops.  Distressed denim (Express) and a Forever 21 cold shoulder top, plus a pair of black Nikes because we walked everywhere.

Aaaaaand most days I look like a hot mess...hat = days old hair.
Black = no thought.
Work out.

Constantine Feather chandelier earrings can be worn just as studs too.
OBSESSED.

Our November Deals are GOLD!! When you spend $50, you can get these for half off. #steal

The style drops for this month are gorgeous!!  The Rebecca Minkoff collection is stunning.

These adorable gift sets are only $59.  Perfect for that special friend, sister, mom, aunt any woman in your life!!

The hard part is choosing which color!?

Navy.

Cream.

Pink.

Basically.

If you want it all, host a party with me (I LOVE online stylish sessions! Super easy and fun, right on Facebook.)

Fashion Friday

Happy First day of Fall!!

Fall didn't get the memo up here in New York though.  Looking at the forecast, temperatures will be in the 80s and hitting even 90 next week. What?!

It did cool down a bit in August, so I was able to try out some new "Fall" items, but I have since been living in shorts and tees again.

Most of all of my tops are from Apricot Lane Boutique.  I find the small fits me perfectly!

I love this color combo-- a soft olive green and mauve.  I thought the Rebel pendant was perfection.

Scarves are the perfect accessory for this whacky weather.  It's chilly in the morning and then as it gets hot, most places have AC running so I find that having a scarf is pretty darn helpful!  This dress was a Fabletics purchase.

Joe calls this my lumberjack shirt.  I love it! It's super soft and kept me warm when it dipped a bit cooler.  The browns and mustard yellow are always a favorite this time of year. I paired it with my Covet Sunday Bag.

I wore white after labor day and paired it with a taupe/blush colored top. I loved how feminine it was! I still adore these Nila Chandelier earrings.

Simple date night was a black swing dress from Old Navy & jewels.  I am obsessed with S&D's new Druzy collection.

I am adoring the velvet trend, but I say to tread lightly.  Don't over do it!  I love it on a kimono or a tee.  Here I layered it with a white tank from Banana Republic.

I think all of these colors are so chic right now.  Dark olives, grey, black, blue jean and a pop of animal print and you can't go wrong.

My friend Ann sent me this and I about died.  I'm only 80%, how about you?

Have fabulous Friday!

Simple Style

Cheers to the weekend!

I'd be lying if I said that I didn't miss this little old blog.  I have a few unpublished posts sitting here in my design section and even though it's a little late to the party, I figured better late than never.

Today has been glorious.  I have been just relaxing (gasp!) and enjoying the day.  Brooke went to the fantasy football draft with Joe, and Bradley hung out with me.  He was pretty cranky and went down for a super early nap, which in turn allowed me to shower and take a little snooze myself!

Now he's still sleeping--whoa--so I figured I'd see how much I could pull together with my blog.

One of our many date nights this past summer included one where we met up with our friends to talk real estate over dinner.  Joe and I stopped for a drink at our favorite place, The Revelry.

I rocked a simple arm party (Stella & Dot of course!) and this stunning cream Waverly clutch from our Covet collection.

Cava was my drink of choice.

One of my favorite necklaces is this gorgeous Terney layered piece.  You can wear it all together or take it apart and wear pieces individually.  I adored it over a red caftan dress from Express.

My favorite eye shadows are from Younique! My girl Elizabeth keeps me in style makeup wise.

I never got a full shot 'after' hair and makeup & clothes were assembled, but such is #momlife when you are scrambling to get out the door and to a destination on paid time!

I am so grateful for such amazing babysitters.  Without these caring women in our lives, I am quite certain we would be lost.

I also love that I can text photos like this to my best girlfriend and she can give me glam advice. If you need any, don't be shy, she'd love to assist you too! #girlsrule

The Kitchen {Date Night}

Summers are for date nights, little dresses, strappy heels, beach waves & fancy cars.

Dress: Express
Shoes: Aldo
Jewels: Stella & Dot

PS I now snap a selfie of my makeup thanks to my glam artist Elizabeth.  I basically look to her as my makeup artist and blow her phone up.  Granted we talk about everything under the sun, but as for makeup help? She is the guru.

I went for a Party Pink lip, (thanks to my girl Ann & Lipsense) my Wesley Sunnies and Gita tassels.

It was a super rainy week last week so we were extra happy to have a nice evening out.

We had dinner at The Kitchen for the chef's tasting menu.   We visited awhile back and were floored at how amazing dinner was.  {You can see my post here}  This time there was MUCH more food.
I was stuffed!

They sat us near the door and poured some Cava for a toast.  Joe wanted to be closer to the chef so we ended up moving.  We decided to simply enjoy the foods this time and not take photos of every little thing.  I did the wine pairing again and enjoyed that except for the last wine, which was a Port. Not a fan.  Not that I had room to drink it anyway, it was beyond filling!

We don't typically go out this often, but when the weather is nice and sitters are abundant, we have been!  I seriously loved this giant mirror in the bathroom.  I need it for the next house for sure. Also? I love that my shoe game is on point, thanks to my husband finding these at Aldo for me!

Fashion Friday

Happy Friday and Last day of the month!!! I am dodging the rain like a pro today.   Totally packed the kids up to go to the park, only to drive through a downpour and detour to the library like a boss.

Thank you Starbucks for filling my tummy with a yummy green tea latte.

I snuck out last week for a quick mani/pedi and tried out this white eyelet top which I scored in a Jena box.  LOVED it!   {PS Side braid is code for: Crazy hair, don't care...}

Saturday night we had a fun little date night.  I rocked some Purple Reign Lipsense and our new fringe choker with an #LBD (little black dress)

I also took out my new waverly covet in cream!  I love it.

Our favorite White Gita Tassels are now available in black.   Score some today!

My style inspiration comes from this one quite often: Jena Green.  Her boutique rocks and she's constantly keeping up to date with all the trends for a fabulous price.

Our new engravable bangles are precious!!

I love how these mirrored sunnies show off whatever is in front of me!  I get such a kick out of them.

Last night we had a sushi date and a biz meeting.  GOOD VIBES!

Now is the time to spend those DOT DOLLARS!!

Bring on my favorite month:
JULY!!

Fashion Friday

Happy Fri-Yay Style Babes!

I am soaking up the sunshine with my kiddos, staying busy as always and loving life.  Now that the weather is warmer (can I get an Amen?!) I love being able to air dry my hair instead of having to use the blow dryer all of the time.

Instagram filters are somewhat fun, no?

These are the same glasses above, but they change color in the sun, how cool? My mom's fiancé brought us up a pair when they came to visit.

One of my favorite necklaces is the Mina Drape --- it paired well with a nice can of rosé for an online style session I did a few weeks back.

I am still loving our mirrored blush Wesleys.

My sister rocked the Emme Choker when we finally went out for her birthday.

***THIS JUST IN***

The versatile fringe choker is SO fun and the must have necklace right now.

It layers so nicely with the Kari necklace and of course the large gold hammered wired hoops.

Here's some Summer Style inspiration for you too!

Happy Shopping!
