Happy Friday!! I know I've said this before, but I swear I love Fall more now than I ever did! I truly think it was because I can enjoy life more, instead of being a part of the "rat race" and rushing around like a maniac working crazy hours and just not living. I didn't realize there were greater options out there, and I thought that was just the way it was. It's not! Life can be whatever you want to make of it. You just need to get yourself on the right path to success.
So what is it that I love so much about this time of year?

The list goes on and on! I just cannot wait to take lil Miss Brooke to some pumpkin patches, maybe a corn maze, sip some cider and maybe split a donut! She is loving the leaves and has so much fun playing in them already. I know she's going to go crazy as they continue to Fall!
I'm loving the gorgeous weather, but I am certainly ready for some cozy sweaters and more boot wearing! This collage sums up some of the highlights of this season.

This is what you'd see walking up to/in my home.
I just love the owl!! He was a new purchase at Jo-Ann's this year.
My old scarecrow; a bit faded from the sun, but hangs proudly on our front door.
Brookie just loves "gunkins" too! Every week we go to the farmer's market she grabs one…and I can't say no!! She first tried to eat the orange pumpkin; I think she thought it was an apple or something, as she loves to eat pears and 'bapples". But now she'll just carry them around the house and place them randomly. She also picked up a pine cone on our walk the other night. Kind of cool to bring nature indoors.
Joe said we will haul out the fire pit soon and sit by a fire. I am really excited about that! We don't get much use out of it in the summer because of all the bugs. I'm hoping we can have one soon!
