Happy First day of Fall!!

Fall didn't get the memo up here in New York though.  Looking at the forecast, temperatures will be in the 80s and hitting even 90 next week. What?!

It did cool down a bit in August, so I was able to try out some new "Fall" items, but I have since been living in shorts and tees again.

Most of all of my tops are from Apricot Lane Boutique.  I find the small fits me perfectly!

I love this color combo-- a soft olive green and mauve.  I thought the Rebel pendant was perfection.

Scarves are the perfect accessory for this whacky weather.  It's chilly in the morning and then as it gets hot, most places have AC running so I find that having a scarf is pretty darn helpful!  This dress was a Fabletics purchase.

Joe calls this my lumberjack shirt.  I love it! It's super soft and kept me warm when it dipped a bit cooler.  The browns and mustard yellow are always a favorite this time of year. I paired it with my Covet Sunday Bag.

I wore white after labor day and paired it with a taupe/blush colored top. I loved how feminine it was! I still adore these Nila Chandelier earrings.

Simple date night was a black swing dress from Old Navy & jewels.  I am obsessed with S&D's new Druzy collection.

I am adoring the velvet trend, but I say to tread lightly.  Don't over do it!  I love it on a kimono or a tee.  Here I layered it with a white tank from Banana Republic.

I think all of these colors are so chic right now.  Dark olives, grey, black, blue jean and a pop of animal print and you can't go wrong.

My friend Ann sent me this and I about died.  I'm only 80%, how about you?

Fashion Friday

What a week!  Lots of snow and no place to really go!  I did get dressed up a bit for Joe's work dinner last Saturday night.  I'm usually a dress kinda gal, but it was FRIGID and I wanted to wear my fun cozy sweater from Express.  As usual, Lipsense was my bff--stayed in place all night long!  Want a long lasting and amazing lipstick and gloss? Sunday brought errand day--I was on a mission to prepare for the big Nor'easter that was headed our way.  (FYI I was so happy that I did!! I love big storms, and I love when I'm right about them!!)

Once I was stuck inside, I decided to play dress up a bit.  The new Gita Tassels are amazing and only $39!!! How incredible is that?! These will be on repeat this Summer.  I'm thinking they're going to look so cute with a tan and cute dresses!   The celestial choker is another new fave. I can't wait to layer with it!  Speaking of layering, VS Pink has some adorable bralettes.  I am a huge fan because since my reflux started, underwires kill me to wear--ugh!  So this cute peek-a-boo look with a cozy sweater is fun.

The sun finally came out all day yesterday and it felt so darn good!



Baby boy and I went and had a fun morning. Sure I should have gone grocery shopping, cleaned the kitchen, folded the clothes, ran the dishwasher...but instead we dropped off Big sis and headed out to play.  This boy needed to run his legs!

We also rode the Merry-go-Round which is always a fun time. (Like my 'mom on the go' look?  Headband, sparkle studs and mascara.

Brooke came out of school as a Leprechaun.

I FINALLY did a sweaty workout.  I put the kids down for a nap and it was go time. No more excuses. I have a disco dress to wear in 2 weeks!!

Oh, and Summer is around the corner eventually...how about these new beauties?! Launching late March!!

I dressed up last Sunday for my solo trip to Target/Marshalls. I am digging our Drape Collar necklace as the whole 'choker trend' is till hot!

My new Blush Wesley Sunnies arrived and they are everything!! Coming in Tortoise too, I just adore this fun style.

I had a preschool board meeting so I rocked the Reese Necklace, smokey studs and my first clothing purchase off of Amazon.  Not too bad for $8!!

My go to eye shadow lately Palette #3 from Younique. I grabbed it from my friend Elizabeth a few months ago and for some reason, this is my favorite one to play with lately.

Apparently Venus is in Retrograde so it's all about love, healing the heart, sending compassion and just breathing in lots of pink.  I'll totally do that!  I bought these lovelies the other day at the grocery store.  I love roses.

How gorgeous is my mama friend out in California?!  She is rocking her arc pendant and her engravable.  She is the definition of beach babe!!

I love styling my little Mr's hair!! I am not wearing anything fancy, but if I can make him look *extra* cute, I totally will do it. I can already hear the phones ringing/texting when this one gets into Jr High/High school.  Oh my.

I'm leaving the house for the first time today since our crazy windstorm hit; I'm hoping it's ok to travel and that there is not too much damage.  I continue to pray for those without power and hope that all is restored soon.  What a mess. I'm not sure why March is always such an insane weather month.  It could be 80 degrees or snowing.  Wind or ice. It's absolutely nuts.

Fashion Friday

Happy Friday everyone! I hope that you are having a wonderful day. We are supposed to be getting some more snow this weekend and I am pretty pumped about that.  As a matter of fact, I just looked out my window and saw snowflakes!  I also heard that we are most likely going to have a White Christmas and well, that will just be the cherry on top for this perfect Christmas.

I've been busy playing mommy--my favorite role, next to wifey, but lots of time at Brooke's school etc.  So I will be sharing some more on that later.

Today I needed to share fashion, because it's Fashion Friday, duh!?  I really love dressing up and playing with accessories, so I wanted to share some of my looks.

Last night we SCORED A HATCHIMAL!!  Mr. Claus may have paid a little extra for it, but we are hoping to have one excited little girl Christmas morning.    I finally got to wear my new sweater from Express and we stopped at the wine bar behind our house for a delicious dinner.

Friday Fashion

Happy FRI-YAY!!

This girl had a little ME time this am and it was muuuuuuch appreciated.  I always feel so good to step away from the house, alone, for an hour or so.

Today I went with a bubble gum pink for a mani color!  It is so bright and happy---just like me! haha

I am having a Mystery Hostess Trunk Show and we are just an order away from someone winning some MAJOR GOODIES!


I have to brag about my girl Elizabeth; she is usually a studs/hoops kinda girl, but she gave our ear climbers a try and loves them!! She's getting compliments left and right--she was so excited to try a little something different and bam, #nailedit.

I am on the hunt for an open vest like this, to pair with our gorgeous infinity scarf in rich burgundy.  Throw on our bungalow hoops and voila--perfection!

The two necklaces I highly recommend as any staple this season, would be the Rebel Pendant (bottom in this photo)

And the engravable bar necklace.  You can get whatever you'd like engraved and wear it close to your heart!! {I totally want to get our land coordinates on one!!}

Fashion Friday: Toronto Edition

TGIF Loves!!

One of my favorite things about vacationing is trying to not look like a tourist! haha No really, I love accessorizing and planning my outfits, but I fully admit it's hard to do on the day to day with two little itty bitties.  Since it was just hubs and I away, I had lots of time to play!


I picked out my Old Navy Pixie Pants (two years ago, I bought them and then got prego!) and a black/white striped Target top I just bought last month.

I went with my MK watch and my chandelier earrings & SD ring.

I brought my lightweight animal print scarf (Marshalls) just in case it was chilly.

Since I figured we'd be doing a lot of walking, I wore my Coach tennis shoes.

My first purchase of the weekend was this beauty! I loved the style, color & price point! {$60}

That night for dinner I used my new bag, wore the Riveria SD necklace and my black swing dress from ON and black lularo leggings and Target sandals.

Saturday morning we wanted to do some shopping and it was a tad cooler, so I opted for my 3/4 length black and white top and a hot pink scarf and black skinnies with holes in the knees---which seemed to be THE pair of jeans everyone was rocking that weekend! I highly suggest you get a pair! {similar here}

I picked up some new bralette halters from Pink and OMG I love them!! They add a little sexy to a plain tee or tank! Cute, comfy & supportive = winning!

I picked up this red Caftan dress from Express and wore it out to dinner Saturday night. I wore leggings too, since I wasn't sure how cold it would get and how much we'd walk.

I loved dressing it up a bit more with this gorgeous SD statement necklace. {Similar here}
