Happy First day of Fall!!

Fall didn't get the memo up here in New York though.  Looking at the forecast, temperatures will be in the 80s and hitting even 90 next week. What?!

It did cool down a bit in August, so I was able to try out some new "Fall" items, but I have since been living in shorts and tees again.

Most of all of my tops are from Apricot Lane Boutique.  I find the small fits me perfectly!

I love this color combo-- a soft olive green and mauve.  I thought the Rebel pendant was perfection.

Scarves are the perfect accessory for this whacky weather.  It's chilly in the morning and then as it gets hot, most places have AC running so I find that having a scarf is pretty darn helpful!  This dress was a Fabletics purchase.

Joe calls this my lumberjack shirt.  I love it! It's super soft and kept me warm when it dipped a bit cooler.  The browns and mustard yellow are always a favorite this time of year. I paired it with my Covet Sunday Bag.

I wore white after labor day and paired it with a taupe/blush colored top. I loved how feminine it was! I still adore these Nila Chandelier earrings.

Simple date night was a black swing dress from Old Navy & jewels.  I am obsessed with S&D's new Druzy collection.

I am adoring the velvet trend, but I say to tread lightly.  Don't over do it!  I love it on a kimono or a tee.  Here I layered it with a white tank from Banana Republic.

I think all of these colors are so chic right now.  Dark olives, grey, black, blue jean and a pop of animal print and you can't go wrong.

My friend Ann sent me this and I about died.  I'm only 80%, how about you?

Happy Fri-yay!!

I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite shops I have been loving lately! My wardrobe needed some help, since I am finally at a size where I am happy and know that I won't be gaining 70 pounds for another baby any time soon.  

Express has been a favorite of mine...I love the choker neck and the cross/tie/strappy top look.  I also grabbed this cardi since it's still kind of chilly. I also picked up these gray stretchy ankle jeans--SO comfortable!

My other obsession is Apricot Lane Boutique.  Jena Green (a fellow Stella Stylist) is on point when it comes to fashion and trends.  I trusted her and ordered her "Spring Box" and wow.  I was so impressed! I received this bomber jacket (something I would NEVER have tried otherwise!) and I love it. I also got this strappy bralette --it's like a sports bra-score! It looks adorable under Z-supply tees, another item I received.

This white top is another item that was in my Spring Box.  I got so many compliments! It is sheer, but the ruffles cover all the right places and I wore a sticky bra so you couldn't see anything in the back.  I felt girly, sexy and feminine all at the same time!  Our Gita tassels are going to be on repeat this Summer too. I adore them.

I went with a white manicure and accented with my gold Trove Ring & City Slim Clutch. Both from Stella!

I had been on the hunt FOREVER for a moto jacket. I knew I wanted one I just had a hard time deciding which one to get.  I saw this on Express and could not be happier! I love that it's got so much stretch to it.  I am wearing a lot since our May weather has been rather chilly. Total score!

I have my eye on these.  I had never heard of Vince Camuto, (how dare I?!) And during a fun little incentive I actually won $100 gift card from my Stella team to pick out a pair of shoes.  I'm thinking I will go with these, because I can't stop thinking of them!!

Eeenie--meanie--miniee-mo.... morning choices are so tough!!



I dressed up last Sunday for my solo trip to Target/Marshalls. I am digging our Drape Collar necklace as the whole 'choker trend' is till hot!

My new Blush Wesley Sunnies arrived and they are everything!! Coming in Tortoise too, I just adore this fun style.

I had a preschool board meeting so I rocked the Reese Necklace, smokey studs and my first clothing purchase off of Amazon.  Not too bad for $8!!

My go to eye shadow lately Palette #3 from Younique. I grabbed it from my friend Elizabeth a few months ago and for some reason, this is my favorite one to play with lately.

Apparently Venus is in Retrograde so it's all about love, healing the heart, sending compassion and just breathing in lots of pink.  I'll totally do that!  I bought these lovelies the other day at the grocery store.  I love roses.

How gorgeous is my mama friend out in California?!  She is rocking her arc pendant and her engravable.  She is the definition of beach babe!!

I love styling my little Mr's hair!! I am not wearing anything fancy, but if I can make him look *extra* cute, I totally will do it. I can already hear the phones ringing/texting when this one gets into Jr High/High school.  Oh my.

I'm leaving the house for the first time today since our crazy windstorm hit; I'm hoping it's ok to travel and that there is not too much damage.  I continue to pray for those without power and hope that all is restored soon.  What a mess. I'm not sure why March is always such an insane weather month.  It could be 80 degrees or snowing.  Wind or ice. It's absolutely nuts.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! 

I'm going to keep this short and sweet.  I had a few things I am loving lately so, here goes~

I started my 3 Day Juice Cleanse yesterday.  I have never done a strict juice cleanse; I've only done AdvoCare's 10 day cleanse.  I cannot wait to share all my thoughts, but so far SO GOOD!

The breakdown is 6 juices/smoothies a day for 3 days.  Lots of water. 

That said, I went to grab my juices at 7am today, and well...I hit the breaks a little hard to stop for traffic, sent my packages flying and spilled my juices.  Well, half of two of them, which would have been my snack and lunch.  So, I had to take my truck to get cleaned because who knows what beet and carrots could end up smelling like....

Silver lining?  I needed to get my car cleaned.  These two had a ball in the waiting area.  Win win there.

I also made it to a yoga class Monday night and felt compared to share a little of my heart here.  If there is something you've been wanting to do for you, just go do it!! I know it's hard and you have a million reasons as to why not, but I am seriously making this my year of YES and it is so rewarding.

Fashion Friday: Thinking Spring!!

Last Sunday we had a birthday to go to for Joe's Aunt.  I dressed up a sweater with these new beauties! They are light enough for all day wear, and I received tons of compliments.  They're so sparkly and add so much to a simple sweater!

As you can see, I played "fashion blogger" for a few minutes and had my #instagramhusband take some photos.  I really love our new DayTripper bag.  It held extra clothes for the kids, diapers, wipes, my purse and things, and sippy cups.  I don't carry a diaper bag daily, but if I did I would use this every single day!!

What I loved most about our Spring look book, is that Stella & Dot really upped the ante as far as "every woman."  Jewelry makes anyone at any age feel so great!  My mom said she feels so put together and pretty every time she looks down and sees her pretties.  I love that!!
