Advocare Cleanse Day 1, Fitness & Faith

Hey Monday!

Today I am finishing up my 10th day of antibiotics and starting my 10 day cleanse.  I haaaaate antibiotics and am so grateful for them healing me, but now get that bad bacteria out of my gut. Puhlease!  I should probably wait until tomorrow to start, but timing wise, this is what needs to happen, mmm k?

It's been a hot minute (90 days) since my last cleanse and I found myself picking off the kids plates just a wee too much.  You know what I'm talking about mama, I know you do.  "Just one bite," turns into "just one cookie" or "'I'll eat clean tomorrow" or "Well, I ate like crap all weekend so what's the point of it starting to eat clean now?"

Well the point is that you will feel a million times better and will thank yourself if you stick to and get back into a healthy regime.  If I use the word "diet" I refer to what I am eating.  I am never ON a diet, I will never be on a diet. I like to think of the 80/20 rule because back when my girl Nikki told me about that, my world was changed forever.

I always struggled with eating healthy or staying fit.  I usually carried an extra 10-15 pounds and would not have considered myself fat, but I was never really comfortable.  Unless I starved myself from carbs and worked out like a maniac, it was a challenge.

Enter in Advocare

Finding my groove back in 2013 was crucial.  After having Brooke and having A LOT of extra weight to lose, I was seriously ready for something.

I had no idea how much Advocare would teach me, the friends I'd gain along with the confidence that it brought me.

I am still a MUCH better person today thanks to Nikki for reaching out a hand, and Danielle showing her the way.

While I may not be building a business with it, I certainly fuel my body a lot better because of it.  (And still enjoy my 40% discount FOR LIFE)

At 36 I want to be in fantastic shape to run and keep up with my kiddos.

I want to feel the best in my own skin and treat my body well.

I want to be as hot and sexy as I can for my main man!!

It's true.

So you just gotta find what works for you.

Today I did legs and it felt oh so good.

I started with the probiotics, followed by the peach fiber (YUM) and then I was kind of mad at myself for, A.) Not eating enough breakfast and B.) Not taking a photo!

I had 2 eggs w/ spinach and one pc of dry wheat toast.  I needed more...

Meal 2 was one small chicken breast, a veggie & some brown rice at 10:45 haha.

Then I had to go stage one of our homes & knew I needed some energy to do it...

After my leg workout I hit up the vegan chocolate shake.

I'm not sure if I'll do chicken or fish tonight, but I made sure hubby grilled up chicken and venison yesterday so I will NOT be short in the protein department.

I'm starting to look into the whole Macros thing..still super confusing and do I really need a food scale?!

I also have a new girl crush...I don't watch TV really, but I tend to get sucked into You Tube and following people that I admire.  When I was pregnant, my feed was flooded with other prego mamas. Now I feel like I need to be surrounded by healthy, fit and inspiring ladies! She is hysterical and real.  I love her easy recipes and her dog is adorable too!

I must say that although getting sick kind of made me down in the dumps, now that I'm doing much better, I feel so much more focused and energized than before.

I attribute it to really starting to walk further along in my faith.  With some very knowledgable and intelligent ladies in my life, I feel as though I am starting to reach a place of such peace and serenity.

True alignment with oneself happens when you can pull apart all of the layers of and see the very core, meaning of life.  I will continue to work super hard at this level because I have never felt so good mind, body and soul.  Am I perfect? No.  Am I exactly where I want to be? Yes and No.  But I know I am on my way to getting there.  Slow and steady.

Enjoy your day friends!

Cleansing & Thoughts for June

Holy smokes!!

I am not sure how it is June 8th, but here we are folks!   I don't like abandoning the blog, but life happens, I suppose.  We had a great May, filled with some staycation time, date nights, and lots of time with family.  We've been hustling hard, building our real estate portfolio and working diligently on our business.

I felt the need to check myself with my eating, as I could feel my clothes not fitting how I like.  I haven't been prioritizing myself and have been eating more like 50/50 instead of 80/20, so I knew it was time to reboot.

I love documenting my cleanses so that I know what I ate during them...sometimes I get lazy and busy and make excuses as to why I don't eat 'clean' but if I can look back here and see it wasn't so hard after all, it just took a little prep time, it helps!

I started my cleanse Wednesday June 7th.
Starting weight: 137

If you have followed me for awhile, you know I was super into Advocare.  I still love their products and truly believe they help! The 24 day challenge helped me learn how to eat correctly and what foods really make me feel the best.

However, as I get older and my body changes and I find what works and doesn't work for me as well.  As much as I LOVE Spark, with my reflux, I just can't drink it.  Same goes for coffee.  I could cry into my green tea latte, but to be honest I am ok without them.

I did however branch out and try Beachbody's Energize, which doesn't seem to irritate me.  Its main source of caffeine is green tea---which is the only form of caffeine I seem to be able to tolerate well.  I also have switched to Shakeology because quite honestly, I enjoy the taste much better than any of the Advocare's shakes.  I am not here to diss or knock, I am just stating what works for me and my body.

I am also a member of Beachbody On Demand because it is the ONLY way I keep up with my workouts.  I have no desire to drag two kids to the gym.  I can throw on my sneakers or pull out my mat and get to work.

I am doing the 14 day Yoga challenge and I started yesterday as well.

So for this 10 day cleanse, here is my raw, honest and real approach!!

I am doing Advocare's 10 day cleanse (includes probiotics in the AM along with a fiber drink and then cleanse tablets PM)

Eating clean-aka-

  • No alcohol
  • No processed foods (other than protein powder)
  • No refined carbohydrates
  • No extra sugars
  • No green tea lattes from the 'bux
  • Drinking lots of water all day long (1/2 my body weight)
  • Eating 5-6 small meals a day
  • Getting good sleep
Day 1:
MEALS

Meal 1- I had 2 eggs over easy, ezekial toast, avocado spread on top, few tomatoes
Meal 2- 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 cup of cashew milk, dash cinnamon & a few strawberries (overnight oats)
Meal 3- Vegan Cafe Latte Shakeology w/ cashew milk, 4 ice cubes, 1/2 banana & a tsp of pb
Meal 4- Chocolate Protein shake w/ ice and water after my yoga sesh
Meal 5- Thai Chicken Lettuce Wrap (cube chicken, grill pan, season, mix with broccoli, almond butter & Braggs liquid aminos (I dont have coconut aminos and lime juice. Sounds weird; trust me, it's good!)
Meal 6-  I felt a little hungry after dinner so I diced up turnips and sweet potatoes, evoo and seasoned in a pan.  They satisfied my salty tooth!

I saw this on the Advocare Facebook page and may have to try them! Use whatever protein powder you have.

Tip or trick:

Hardboil some eggs and always have easy fresh fruits and veggies on hand.  I ate these on Monday, as I was trying to prep for my meal prep haha.  I know that is the hardest thing for me as a busy momma of a 2 and 4 year old, plus having to cook separate meals for Joe because he cannot eat too many vegetables or whole grain/whole wheat items.

Lastly:

I constantly feed my brain.  I'm always listening to motivating podcasts, audiobooks, and looking at solid quotes.  Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.  We as a society have learned to settle for average.  We continue to live our lives with tunnel vision, no expectations, not pushing ourselves over and beyond.  Sometimes I wonder if I push myself or my kids too much, but then I realize that's silly.  Joe and I work very hard to create our exceptional life and there is no better way to live.  Whether is being healthy, making more money, fueling your mind and spirit with good thoughts, prayers and words, you must make efforts every single day.  There is no rest for this; we have got to face our fears, push our limits and never, EVER settle. Each and every one of us is worth more.

...more to come on that topic.

For now, Day 2 of my cleanse has commenced and I am ready to take on the world. Happy Thursday!

3 Day Juice Cleanse

Happy Monday!

So, I wanted to share my thoughts and feeling now that I'm all done with my Juice Cleanse.  First and foremost, I am NOT a Dr, nutritionist or anything of that nature!  I am just a girl who loves her body and wants to feel the best she can!

I used Instagram, "Instastory"{Styled_by_Jenn} to kind of keep a daily log of my thoughts etc.  I discovered that you can just save the whole story from the day, so I did that (which case now you see random's of my kids etc, hey that's my life!!)

I did forget to document a few times when I drank my juice, but I think it's a decent overall impression.  Overall I would give myself a 97% (haha! The old teacher in me!)  I drank so much water and kept a fairly good attitude; there was one point on day 3 where I was getting a little absurd and mad over nothing at all.

The hardest part was cooking meals for my kids and my husband, while sipping on juice. I love food SO MUCH and enjoy eating healthy, so to not be able to nibble here or there at all for 3 days was tricky.

I chose Breathe Yoga's 3 Day Juice Cleanse program.  It was $112 which worked out to about $6 a juice, and for that price I figured it was well worth the money.  Buying all organic fruits and veggies and then making the time to juice them may have prevented me from doing all three days.

3 days

6 juices or smoothies a day

I picked up at 7 or 9am and again at 3pm.

I chose a 3pm smoothie because I know my body well enough to know that is when I crash. I had something to look forward to and it was always a delicious drink!

I found it SUPER convenient to just go grab the juices, other than being an idiot and dumping the second morning's juices in my truck.

Would I recommend the cleanse to anyone? Yes and no.  If you've NEVER cleansed before, I highly suggest you checking out Advocare's 10 day cleanse. I still find that one to be way easier mostly because you can eat real food! It also taught me what foods are best for my body and honestly it's more practical for every day life.

Simply drinking juice for 3 days straight is not teaching you anything about how to live healthier.  Sure it will give you a sense of what juices you may enjoy and what I learned is that maybe when I am eating one of my 5 or 6 small meals, I could replace one of my meals with a juice and probably be totally fine.

At the end of day three, I gave in and ate some plain Kale with lemon squeezed on it. I also had a banana with my very last wheatgrass drink.

I could tell my body was almost in shock by day 4, as I woke up so hungry and almost lethargic.  I couldn't wait to get the eggs into my system for some protein! I am a HUGE protein believer and with all of the running around I do, I firmly believe our bodies need it.

**TMI**

With a cleanse you worry about "going" too much or not enough...I just went once in the morning.  Nothing to worry about there!

I did lose 4 lbs in those three days, but they all came back.  I did not cleanse in hopes of losing weight, I really wanted to reset my body and see if it helped with my Reflux issues.  While I had no tummy troubles at night, sometimes my stomach aches when I lay down to go to sleep, I still had the 'caught in the throat feeling' every day, if not worse than normal. (lack of stomach acid?)

So if you're looking to challenge yourself and have always wanted to try a juice cleanse, by all means go for it!  I would probably have been smarter to do it in the Summer, as I mention in my video I got pretty cold one day.  I am craving juices now and certainly am not taking for granted my ability to eat healthy and real foods again.

If you're looking to lose weight and firm up, then certainly just start eating better and working out. Nothing beats the gold old fashioned way.

PS. I could totally go for a hot apple and cinnamon drink; that was so yummy!!

If you have any other questions or comments, feel free to ask below.  I would love to answer them for you!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

I'm going to keep this short and sweet.  I had a few things I am loving lately so, here goes~

I started my 3 Day Juice Cleanse yesterday.  I have never done a strict juice cleanse; I've only done AdvoCare's 10 day cleanse.  I cannot wait to share all my thoughts, but so far SO GOOD!

The breakdown is 6 juices/smoothies a day for 3 days.  Lots of water.

That said, I went to grab my juices at 7am today, and well...I hit the breaks a little hard to stop for traffic, sent my packages flying and spilled my juices.  Well, half of two of them, which would have been my snack and lunch.  So, I had to take my truck to get cleaned because who knows what beet and carrots could end up smelling like....

Silver lining?  I needed to get my car cleaned.  These two had a ball in the waiting area.  Win win there.

I also made it to a yoga class Monday night and felt compared to share a little of my heart here.  If there is something you've been wanting to do for you, just go do it!! I know it's hard and you have a million reasons as to why not, but I am seriously making this my year of YES and it is so rewarding.

On a side biz note, my Mystery Hostess Trunk Show is up to almost $200 in free swag!

If you're feeling lucky, grab yourself a pair of Smokey Sparkle Studs for $19 and join in on the fun.  I'll be picking a winner next week!!!

Currently Cooking [cleansing]

Happy Monday!

I'm sitting down to eat my lunch: (leftover chicken, rice, greens and a little salsa) and so I wanted to share what else I've been cooking up! We had a nice little weekend; a much needed day of rest yesterday after a whirlwind of <crap> that happened last week.  We played with the kids, had a nice fire, and just watched football.  I'm really taking a good look at a lot of things in life, and one of them is our food. Boy, do I know how much work it takes to cook meals for 4 people all day long, but it's so worth it to hear my husband say how great his body feels this morning.  I feel awesome too, which I knew I would because Advo is the best.

So with the chilly temps upon us, I am truly getting into better shape, mentally, emotionally and physically.

So yesterday I was in the mood for some "comfort food."  I had a spaghetti squash, so I made some homemade sauce.  I just EVOO, onions, garlic powder, crushed tomatoes for the sauce and let it simmer.   I baked the squash at 400 for 35 minutes.  And I basically used this recipe for the meatballs [here].   Now of course my Italian hubby ate regular penne pasta, but he actually did enjoy the meatballs!

Earlier in the day I threw a whole chicken in, some onion & garlic on the bottom, herbs on top.  Slow cooked that bird til she fell apart!

Other news-I really try to buy organic chicken, but I had a coupon and lately I've been eating my weight in poultry, so I grabbed these in case of emergencies.  WINNING.  You can add any flavor you want, microwave, warm up in skillet, whatever.  I like that I have them on hand in case I get hangry and have nothing else.

I lived off of hummus chicken last week.  Totally honest: I didn't mind it. I used garlic hummus, but it still could have used more seasonings.  I ate it all week, but I'm not that picky…Joe didn't like it and neither did Brooke.  Noted.

My breakfast is pretty standard. Some days I throw in spinach, others I just do 2 eggs, scrambled or over easy. A little avo. 1 piece of ezekial bread.

I also had turkey chili a lot last week.  Brooke liked it, which shocked me because it was a little spicy.  Joe can't eat it because of all the beans.  I just dump in tomatoes, canned and fresh, whatever I have.  Spices. Beans. Ground turkey.

So while the babes are still napping, I'm off to menu plan for this week! I'm craving soups because it's chilly! I'm a few days out from the Max phase, which I'll ease up my eating a little bit….like I've been #onfleek haha ok, on point with my eating no joke.  I haven't even used honey…so I am going to make some overnight oats and energy bites.

Any recipes out there that are fairly clean you wanna share?? I love new recipes.  Have a great day!

10 Day Cleanse

Starting:

bust 39
waist 40.5
hips 41
left thigh 23
right thigh 23
right calf 14.5
left calf 14.5
left bicep 12

After 10 day cleanse:

bust 37.5
waist 38
hips 38
left thigh 22
right thigh 22
left calf 14
right calf 14
left bicep 11
right bicep 11
neck 12.5

Total inches lost:  12!!

As for pounds?

Roughly 2.

I can see why people get frustrated the the scale doesn't move; this is the first time that during the cleanse I didn't lose a lot of pounds, but I know that I feel leaner and my clothes are fitting better. I am so happy that I took measurements!!  I also know that doing this the right way, I will ensure that these pounds won't creep back up on me.

Not the best side by side, but I see a difference! (And feel!)

The cleanse isn't really meant as a weight loss product anyway; sure people generally lose on it, but really it's to help get your body running at its optimum speed and flush out alllllll of the gunk!  So if you're ever thinking of doing a cleanse, don't do it for the wrong reasons! It will definitely be good for you to do, but don't expect to drop a crazy amount of weight in only 10 days.  This is all about being healthy remember!

So today I start the Max Phase today and I chose MNS E because it's my favorite and this mama needs her extra energy-wahooooo!  I will also be taking Thermoplus, Catalyst, Spark, Carb-ease as needed and I ordered Slim to try as well.

As for workouts, I pushed pause on my T-25 because of my ankle. My goal is to start back up on Monday.

Workout & Cleanse Update

I saw this image back when I was a big ol' whale of a pregnant woman.  I loved it and couldn't wait to birth a healthy babe and be able to start really working out again.  So far, so good!

My cleanse is going well [day 7 today!] I haven't stepped on a scale or measured, but I feel a lot tighter and have more energy.  I swear my spare tire is deflated by the minute. My jeans don't fit yet, but I will get there. I am definitely treating this as a marathon and not a sprint.  My overall goal is to just be healthy and fit again like I was prior to pregnancy, and it took me a few months to really get into a nice smooth groove.  Nothing like that happens over night, so I try to stay positive and not get discouraged.  I also haven't been 100% perfect with my clean eating, but the main things for me have been no wine (alcohol) no processed foods, and no sweets -- I have also tightened the reigns on my snacking, and have kept it to 6 small meals a day.

Avo & eggs why you so good?!  Love this combo in the am. I have a small frying pan [so what it may be missing its handle; it's the perfect size!] and I crack one egg and pour some egg whites in there.

Workouts:
(Still sticking to the T 25 calendar)

Monday-Cardio
Tuesday- Total Body Circuit
Weds- Speed 1.0
Thursday- Cardio--but I did Zumba w/ Brooke

Friday- I took a rest day, as my body was spent.  My ankle started hurting a bit..
Saturday- Lower Focus

I won't lie, it was a struggle to put this one down and actual do the workout. But I did!

I was lazy and didn't feel like putting on workout pants, and I won't do that again.  These had no stretch.  But I did get my workout in.   And the muffin top is still present, but I'm working on it!

Sunday- Stretch day

I have done some super light stretching, but my ankle is KILLING me.  It hurts the most when I am walking down the stairs, so I have been instructed to do the RICE method from my friend Ann who coached a lot.  The ice helps and I just bought a compression band that seems to be helping.  I am going to try and wear my sneakers inside (instead of barefoot) and rest as much as possible which is nearly impossible with a 2 year old and a 2 month old.  So I'm hoping to wake up with no pain tomorrow--please!

So I figured I'd catch up on a blog while watching my current obsession PLL.  It's a bad bad addiction and I am not proud of it, but I just can't get enough! It's bad because it's on Netflix so I can watch it on the phone, on the iPad, on the computer…#ooc  I swear, if the weather would just warm up I could kick this show watching problem haha!

Cleanse Results {And Randoms}

I know "change" can be tricky.  Even for 10 days, to limit or restrict certain foods is a test.  It can be hard but the results?  Ahhh-mazing.   Trust me, I know it can be tricky to not have cheese. Or coffee. Or pasta.  But you know what? It's just 10 days. I cannot explain how awesome it feels emotionally to hit that goal, and physically to feel your best.

I bought this for myself as a "treat" as I continue on my health journey… {great issue, I highly recommend!}

Coincidence?

I was up and out of bed waaaaaaay earlier than I normally am.  I am in love with Grape Spark and am now out.  Sad face! I need to order more.

While cleansing, I did all of this pretty much daily [minus the chocolate]

Cleanse Results after 10 days?

I wasn't looking to lose any more weight, I am happy with numbers on the scale, but clearly my body knows what its doing…so have at it! I can feel everything shifting and toning and slimming; I love it.

Oh and the big baggy booty---LOL.  Cracks me up that I have this poofy behind now, but really my bum is now way smaller.  Woot.

Thursday I got my hair done---did not chop it---just freshened up the length, added a bit more bang and of course, more blonde.  Hubby and I had a little date night and loved every minute of it!
I swear my hair is growing like a weed because of these amazing Omegas!! Shhh! It's my little secret.  Get yourself on some STAT if you're not taking this high quality supplement. It's a must. I give it as presents to friends and family because it's SO good for us.
OMEGAPLEX

I know I've shared my love for this product (which is on sale right now!!) Digest-ease is super helpful with digesting foods that don't always agree with us.  Whether it's a rumbling tummy or if you have trouble 'going' after certain foods, I see a huge difference in my husband when he takes these daily.

I have fallen in love with Rehydrate as well.  I will sometimes mix it with my Spark in the morning or I enjoy it while working out…sometimes you just need to add flavor to your water and get some benefit out of it too!

And I was disgusted with these commercials while watching the Olympics…the one where athletes are biting their medal and people are biting their chicken mcnuggets.  So. Gross.  I hope to continue to educate myself and others on healthier eating habits.

**As always check with your Dr before adding any supplements to your diet.  I am not making medical claims with the use of Advocare, I am simply sharing what is working for myself and my family!

Updates {cleansing and such}

Not to get all cheesy on you, but I am so grateful and blessed for Danielle and Nikki to have shared AdvoCare with me.  I really think it's funny (now) to look back at my former self and see how ridiculous I was being.  I had every excuse in the book, and I used them all, as to why those "last 10 pounds" would not budge.  [The oh, woe is me post here]

I would have never in a million years dreamt that my journey with AdvoCare would lead me to where I am today.  Sure I have lost weight and feel awesome {what mama doesn't want more energy and to fit into her skinny jeans?!} but I also continue finding myself.  It pushes me to read leadership books, get on phone calls, connect with people, and it gives me hope.

Do you still dream?  You should.  You know that saying, if your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough.  For some reason, we tend to just get comfortable. We settle for average.  The average American is overweight.  The average American has loads of debt. The average American eats junk food….

Bla.
Bla.
Bla.
Bla.
Bla.

When I heard that, it downright bothered me.  I don't want to be average.  Is it bad to be just average?

In my head average was like in school, what, a C?  This girl didn't want a C. Or a B.  I wanted an A.

I still want an A in life. I want to know that I gave my all, did my best, and that one day I'll look back when I'm old and gray and smile because I lived a full and beautiful life.

There are times when I want to just stay in my cozy bed and pout because I haven't seen the grass or the sun in what feels like years, but really just days or weeks.  There are times I want to be lazy and do nothing…

And then? I read some more of my book, The Traveler's Gift.  [Disclaimer: everyone should own a copy of this book.] It took me back to my teaching days and how optimistic Anne Frank was.  I teared up as I pictured the room she stayed in, without going outside for fresh air.  In 2010 Joe and I went to Amsterdam and visited the Annex.

How dare I not be grateful for all that I have and all that I can be happy for.

Thank you for that reminder.

So even though most people are simply interested in the weight loss, this journey is so special to me and  I love how it's helping me through days that may not seem so great. [Like today, when Joe is sick with Crohn's and Brooke continues to fight off her Bronchiolitis/RSV and again fun family day plans are cancelled.]

It's more than just a Spark for me.  It's more than a number on the scale.  That's great and all, but the real relationships I continue to build, the more I work on myself, the happier I become.  I also just LOVE getting positive feedback from people who are on their journeys as well.

So with that off of my heart, onto the cleanse…

I keep it pretty simple and kind of routine, as the meals I eat are completely different from Joe's.  That's ok though, it helps keep me in line!

I eat 6 times a day. Every 2-3 hours, whenever I'm getting hungry I eat.  The first 10 days I try so hard to make it as clean as possible--no dairy, no processed, no refined sugar, no white starch.

For example:
Breakfast: Egg and fruit
Snack: Orange and almonds
Lunch: Salad with chicken breast
Snack: Apple & almond butter
Dinner: Clean Crockpot burrito w/ black beans and avocado
Dessert: Chia pudding with berries

I even made myself Chia Pudding-- Thank you Alison for sharing that recipe!

It was almond milk and it thickens with the chia seeds.

SUPER filling and really not that bad at all!

I know how tiresome it is to clean the dishes after every meal. To feel like the sink is never empty. That I am peeing every hour---but to me? That is WORTH it.  I always go back to my mom's "oxygen mask theory."  If you don't take care of yourself and put yourself first once in awhile, NOTHING will get done and NO ONE will get taken care of properly.

So to me, the excuse of "I don't have time to cleanse" is just that. An excuse. If you want to get healthier and feel better, you make time.  It's worth it, trust me.

WOW moment:

A pair of jeans that have not fit this booty since I was 26.  {as in when I first met Joe!!}

Still working on trimming the little muffin top…pardon the pink bra.

THAT impressed me.  I still don't feel "super comfy" in them, as there is no stretch, but the fact that they zipped up and fit over my butt? Woop!

I say this a lot to everyone I coach. I saw this posted and it's so true--

80% of what you eat should be clean.  That way you have 20% for wiggle room--to enjoy something deliciously naughty.  I hate saying "cheat" but let's be real. If you ate burger-like foods 80% of the time, you're not gonna feel well or look your best.

I cannot stress this enough; it's NOT a diet.  It really does teach you how to eat and what to eat.  Sure it's a "24 Day Challenge" but it's meant to transform you for life. It did for me and so many others.

Some of my positive texts this week! I have some real dedicated friends I am helping out. I love helping them get healthy and see results!!

And I cannot remember if I shared a photo or not, but this is Rachel.  Mama has it GOING ON!  She is 55 pounds lighter since starting her AdvoCare journey.  And? She is a nursing mama.  She is still giving her little girl all that good milk and losing weight.  The best part?? She is a SAHM who is now on track to making $500-1000 extra a month. How incredible?  I am so proud of you; you give me inspiration for when I get prego again one day! Keep on rocking Rachel!

So as of today, (day 8) I am feeling great. I lost 2 pounds in the first few days and have kept that off. Again, I wasn't looking to lose weight, I just really wanted to reset my eating habits and work on toning my muscles.  {especially my core--it is my weak spot}
