New Year

I will break these down and I'm sure become laser focused as the year progresses, but as of today, 1/1/17?  Here are my 10 areas of focus:

1.  Use the good camera
2.  Exercise 4x a week
3.  Meditate daily
4.  Read 2 books a month
5.  Hit my business goals
6.  Travel
7.  Heal my reflux
8.  Spend more time with my sister
9.  Write my book
10.  Work on new house stuff

My word for 2017: Gratitude

It came to me, as I had been putting it out there into the universe that I needed a new word.  I kept hearing it, seeing it, reading about it, listening to podcasts...finally it struck me that God must want me to focus more on Gratitude.

The more you focus on what is good and positive in your life, the more of that you will attract.  It's so hard to do this when you're having a rough moment.  Often when something goes "wrong" in our lives, we focus so much on that, more 'bad stuff' starts to happen.

Try to turn it around as soon as it happens.  I'm not saying you have to find the positive in a tragic situation; there are certain things that deserve our deepest emotions.  I'm just talking about the little bumps that we tend to overdramatize...

The spilled cup of milk.

Running late.

You husband being sick on NYE, so your fancy plans go out the window.

So many things are out of our control and if we just realize that maybe things happen just the way they should, we could all be a little happier.

So today, I am embarking on a new path of my journey and embracing all of life's ups and downs.  Progress, not perfection.  Smile, breathe and indulge in some self-care.

PS.  f you're looking for a way to display your word, check out our engravables!! Today only I'm running a special with my Mystery Hostess Trunk Show.

Fashion Friday {#OOTD}

It's Friday, so that means we talk Fashion!

The temps have been all over the place, from 50s to 80s this week! Crazy.  I had to share the adorable collage above, because I LOVE everything about it! Our Stella & Dot necklaces, earrings, bracelets, & wallets are perfect additions to your Fall wardrobe.  Interested in getting them for free? Let's chat! I am scheduling into December now!  Booties, jeans, sweaters & vests are a must.  Pumpkin everything? Yes please!

So onto my outfits...

Last Friday I had my acupuncture appointment.  It was rather chilly in the am, so I was excited to wear a sweater and scarf! I also treated myself to a Matcha Latte.

My jeans are form express and they're so comfy!  My bag is from the Covet line. Booties from Marshalls.

Monday we had Bradley's checkup--healthy boy--so I went with a quick ponytail, headband, zip up hoodie and leggings combo.  I throw on the silver wired hammered hoops to help me feel like I am put together!!

Tuesday I had to drop off Brooke to preschool & run grocery shopping.  I love our new smokey studs.  I also threw on my engravable disc with B|B for Brooke & Bradley.  It was warm out so I just wore a tee shirt and capris leggings--then changed into shorts because it was 80!

Tuesday night was warm enough still, so I put on the Carly LuLaRoe dress.  I paired the new celestial hoops with the rose gold wishing necklace & Brio Tassel.

**Trend alert** Chokers are back!! I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, but I kinda am digging it!
This Emme choker is from our new line and it fills my 90s girl heart! I love how easy it is to tie in a bow. You can wear it as a headpiece, lariat or bracelet too.

Obviously this isn't mine, but I sure want to recreate it!! I love the stripes and the leopard print with the colorful pop of the Brio.

What trends are you loving this Fall?

Thursday Confessions

I confess....

...Super stoked it's Thursday and the sun is shining!

...I'm totally a type A personality when it comes to organizing get togethers.  I hate, I mean hate not being in control.

...I have a true obsession with my green tea lattes I started drinking in place of my coffee & I do believe I may be feeling a lot better with this whole reflux thing (still no meds!)

...I could sit and watch the kids play forever.  They're at that adorable stage where if they don't know I'm watching, they're really cute together---until they're not and start biting/crying/arguing haha!

....I'm having a ball with my Keep biz! We are doing an online Ladies Night and I love meeting new people to network with!  {Plus the Summer line is soooo fun!}

...Saturday night we get to go out to dinner with some of Joe's work people and I'm looking forward to some adult conversations! The other wives are a lot of fun and it should be a great time.

...I had too much fun taking the kids on a walk to a park and playing on Monday, only for it to go back into the 50's and be a little too chilly/windy for my liking.

...we are super close to finalizing Summer vacation plans. I want them made already so I can start the planning!

...my closet needs new jeans, shorts and a few more easy tops for Summer, pronto!!

...I feel as though I could have written this blog post here

...just when I think I am on top of everything, I go and forget Bradley's 15 month checkup appointment on Tuesday.  #oops

...I totally got my husband addicted to Snap Chat; I love that we're like 12.

...I'm really wanting to try some new warm weather recipes! Any good ideas??

...mind over mattress is something I struggle with, but I am really trying to get up earlier!! {totally failed today, but yesterday I was up early enough to read a bit!}

...baby boy desperately needs his bangs trimmed but neither Joe or I want to cut the curls!

....Bubs totally reminds me of Maggie on The Simpsons because he'll walk around the house sucking on his empty ba ba and then just randomly fall, for no reason.

What are your confessions?!

Fashion Friday

It's Friday!! I am enjoying a semi low key morning vibe~Brookie is with my dad and step-mom and hubby is off today.  He has a lot of errands to run but it's nice to have him around!  Baby boy is into everything::currently playing with a faux pearl bracelet--trying to drop it down a heating vent::

My look yesterday: A long sleeved Old Navy shirt in coral and my favorite Stella pieces from last year.

Totally adds value to any old outfit & I can feel more dressed up with less effort!

I saw this and can see Brookie and I in these, so I decided to take the plunge and sign up for the discount with Stella & Dot!!  I think this will look so cute alone or over jeans.  We can have our suits on or just go grab lunch and be ready!  I don't know where we are vacationing yet, but it will be fun and we are going to be styling!

Lace Tunics

I saw this shirt on Jane a few weeks ago and had to grab it.  I also grabbed the Riviera Statement Necklace as it was on sale (and I still had a half off hostess credit!) So as my friend says, I basically got it for free.

While I don't have a degree in fashion, I do have SO much fun with it!! Here was last Saturday as I played around with our Easter outfits!

Brooke's dress and Bradley's plaid shirt actually came from B.J.'s Wholesale Club of all places. We went there for diapers and I saw a few clothing items at a decent price and it worked!

My dress is a few years old and I actually wore it two years ago on Easter.  I got it in Toronto and I don't remember which store.  I paired it with a Target Statement necklace.

Joe chose his blue shirt...he's worn it a bunch but he always looks so good in blue!!

Workouts?  A good headband. A cute workout top.  (I love a motivating phrase!) A solid sports bra & leggings (Old Navy and LuLaRoe are my go to).

I'm also adoring my wristlet pouch.  I have seen quite a few floating around, so they're quite on trend!! Keep doesn't disappoint when it comes to being in the know!

I shared this on my FB fan page (Bliss to Bean)  yesterday in a silly video I made.  I am super excited to try some new makeup out!  [Holly photobomb]

It comes with a little compact so you can apply it on the go!

Checkout that contour the girl did on my cheeks!! I snapped a photo of myself "working" last night.  Yes, here is my "Thursday night look" haha.  Good old Victoria Secret Robe.

I  had a lot of with an online social.  Joe was working late (last day of the month) baby was asleep, and I was able to make some money and talk about jewels!  Seriously wish I had only started this gig sooner.

Want some sneak peaks??! Shhhh!  Tassels are all the rage!

Help me decide, bag 1 or 2?

Since I couldn't see spending full price for something of these gorgeous beauties on their way next week, I took advantage and signed up.   I don't go to the mall a lot, but when I do? I don't really see anything I love.  And with Stella & Dot?  Seriously everything catches my eye AND I get constant compliments.

Hope that inspires your fashion for this upcoming Spring/Summer!

Which looks are you loving?

Weekly Keep

Happy Tuesday friends!  With that said, I of course want to send my thoughts and prayers to everyone in Brussels.  I just can't believe this is the world in which we live in, and my heart goes out to them.  8 am in the morning at an airport or 9am on the metro...innocent lives.  It's just devastating. I will continue to spread peace and kindness as much as I can and do my part...

My scheduled post for today...

Spring colors are the perfect addition to any outfit.  The citron keeper is a hot one right now!

Add a pineapple for the perfect yet simple accent!

The rose quartz, rose gold, and saddle have it going on!

Mother's Day is around the corner, how adorable is this?

I received my new Pink dipped wristlet pouch and I LOVE it! It's really quite big and I was impressed with how much it can hold.

I'm having several Be Kind & Design Socials on Facebook!  If you're interested in hosting or shopping one,  say the word!

My favorite luxe stone is by far this one:  The Howlite Stone

Have a beautiful day xox

Weekly Keep

Happy Tuesday!!  Just a little silly picture of bubs and I from over the weekend!  It's so much fun (and exhausting at times!) to stay at home with my munchkins.    I've always needed a creative outlet to share my love for fashion and trends, so when I joined as a Keep Collective Designer, I knew I would just love it!

The beauty of it is obviously the flexible entrepreneurship.  I can make time when I have time.  Monday it was while the kiddos napped in the afternoon.  Sometimes it's at night when they're in bed.  Whenever I can, I fit it in!!

I do most of my business online, only because I don't have access to a lot of babysitters.  In my ideal world, I'd be able to get out of the house more and go socialize and have lots of girl time (while making that money!)

For now?  I connect with ladies online and have socials via Facebook. They don't have to clean their homes or provide food/drinks, and I don't have to find a sitter. WIN/WIN.

This month we are partnering with the Kind Campaign and I decided to try out a silicone keeper. OMG.  I knew they were great for younger girls, but this pink lover is so happy to have it!! It's a lot more easy to wear daily, as I don't worry about it getting wet when I wash my hands a million times (hello dirty diapers) or when I am doing dishes (all day errrrr day!)

The Kind Campaign is such an amazing organization that is helping to end girl/girl bullying.  AKA "mean girls."  We all know that mean girls grow up to be mean women, and the truth is, it's getting out of hand, especially with online bullying.

Our Kind keys are so cute and I adore them!  I have never liked the movie Mean Girls, even if it's just for fun... I've always had a sensitive soul and quite honestly can't find the humor in being mean.

I chose two looks for today, one is the camo---girls can be a little more outdoorsy too!

And of course, the hot pink silicone,  shown with the Stella & Dot harmony bracelet.

I think that it looks fabulous even from the other side!

I've personally partnered with Shelby who is a Stella & Dot stylist.  She is wearing her Kind keys on a citron keeper---how gorgeous?!  And for $19 you can grab the rainbow harmony bracelet from her!

Speaking of trends, we are going to be launching the wristlet today!!  There is one navy dipped and one hot pink dipped----squeal!! Super simple and very much Summer ready!! I am always loving a wristlet to keep all of my little necessities when switching from diaper bag to purse.

LOVE.

Lots of ladies are loving the luck o' the Irish!! Green is in this week and we are keeping happy!

If you're interested in booking a social or supporting the Kind Campaign, leave a comment below!  I am always looking to grow my team of ladies.  They have just announced the items in the new starter kits and I am so excited!! There are some perfect Keep pieces they've added and whether you sign up for $149 or $349, you would not be disappointed!!  I love empowering other women and helping great causes, such as this.

Currently {Thursday Edition}

Happy Thursday!! Oh man is it snowing outside! I was hoping to take the kiddos to the museum of play, but they're still kind of sick and the roads are terrible.  So I have been trying to break out some fun things like paint in ziploc bags taped to the windows and banging on pots and pans with wooden spoons.  It's sort of working...

I had a few ideas floating around in my head that I wanted to share!

Meditation:
For 4 days in a row, I have started each morning with this 10 minute guided meditation for my chakras.  I obviously don't expect immediate results, but I have been wanting to meditate and work on this forever, so I just started doing it. I'll grab my iPad first thing and listen to it.  So far I like it. I want to give it 21 days to really start it as a habit and see how I feel.

KEEP:
Today the new Blue Ikat leather keeper was released along with the new Chevron Geo Bar.  How adorable?!  I cannot wait to add this to my arm parties.   " Wear this Limited Edition Key as a reminder that beyond the clouds, the stars still sparkle."  ---I LOVE THAT!!

Sticky Asian Ribs:
Dinner is marinating in the fridge as I type!  I combined two recipes and kind of put my own spin on them.  I am hoping these turn out as good as I hope!! I will for sure let you know and give a better detail of them.  {here and here}  I made a soup the other day kind of concocting a bunch of things together and Joe and I LOVED it. So, here's to another new recipe!!

Listening to:
So this song isn't new, but it's on some commercial and I had Joe look it up...the lyrics are actually really good! It came on my "Today's Hits" on Pandora too, so I just keep playing it.  Nice little ring to it...

Bradley boy:
Have I mentioned that I never had brothers or really any sort of "training" when it comes to baby boys?! Haha.  This one, ohhhh my word.  He is something else, I tell ya! He fell asleep on the way home from Target the other day...

He finds it hilarious to put the soft block in this wood holder and bounce on it.  Repeatedly.  He also really enjoys climbing onto EVERYTHING and giving his momma almost heart attacks.   Clearly he's a bit on the wild side. Most pictures are like this~

And today?
Brooke was up coughing at 11, 1, 3 {got up to get her some water, let the dog out} and then she was up at 5.  Bradley woke up crying and has been off all day--I had Joe bring home some infant tylenol as I think it's his bottom molar and I usually don't give our babes meds, but this little dude was in pain and I felt so bad for him.  He's finally down napping now and seemed A LOT better after that.  Plus they're both fighting off these stupid colds...

Drinking:
Club W--My friend Amie sent me a coupon to try this wine delivery.  You see, here in NY I can't just grab a bottle of wine at the grocery store.  We have to go to a liquor store, which never happens with two littles in tow.  Plus they have a cool quiz you can take and get some wine recommendations.  If you're interested, here's the coupon for you to try!  {here}  Since that box I ordered hasn't arrived yet, I may have begged hubs to grab me a bottle of white on the way home. #sos

Reading:
I've got a goal to be more of a finisher.  I tend to get sidetracked with great ideas and ambitions, but never finish, or almost never finish and then I feel like poo. {Thanks to a Chalene podcast I was listening to, it really helped me see that!} SO,  I started reading The Sell a few months ago and I am bound and determined to finish it!  I will review it when I am done. #boom

Thought of the day week: I keep pushing on.  This doesn't really mean I'm going to give up as a mom by any means, it's just that in general, things get super hard and I get frustrated...but I know that it's in these crucial moments a breakthrough is bound to happen.

Stay beautiful my friends!! xox
