Weekend Re-cap

I had a great weekend because I had my husband home with me all weekend long!!
We were going to take a mini-babymoon away to Lake George in a couple of weeks,
but unfortunately his assistant is off the rest of the month due to surgery,
so we will not be going away.
He did end up getting this weekend off though, so we enjoyed every moment of it!
Friday we ran some errands, grabbed our favorite breakfast bagels, and Joe got his hair cut.
It was soooo hot and such a gorgeous day, we stopped and walked along the beach.
I longed to be out on the water, but alas, we do not own a boat.
After our beach walk, we stopped by our friends Chris & Jill's house and they
actually asked us out on a boat ride!
They got the boat up and running this summer and it's a 1966.
Hubs loved driving it.
We cruised down the river, on the lake, and over to the bay.
We stopped at Bayside Pub for some Friday Fish Frys
and drove right up and docked the boat.
It was a gorgeous photo-op,
however I was not matching, and I was going for comfy...
Nonetheless I'm keeping it real on le blog.
{This is after I ate, so I always look even bigger..riiiiiight...}
And of course us being silly
I just love being out on the water and am so happy we got to spend
some of our day on it!!
We were beat after being out in the sun and may or may not have called it a night by 9:28pm.
Saturday called for a laaaaaazy morning.
I made Joe breakfast in bed and we just watched TV and lounged...
until about 3 when we decided to go see the new Batman movie.
HIGHLY recommend it--both a girl and a guy movie.

And during this awesome movie,
my first live--can't live without it--craving, occurred.
Now, don't get me wrong, I've had 'cravings' so far...
but none of which I'd go crazy if I didn't get what I wanted.
Sadly, like most pregnancy cravings, this was not a healthy one!
Tully's Chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce.
I have no idea why this came to me,
but my sweet husband obliged and we drove out to another town to satisfy my craving.
I didn't take a picture, but some other blogger did:
It was everything I hoped for.
Sunday we were fairly lazy again, getting up around noon...
The girls even let us sleep in both days until 9!!
That's unheard of in this house.
Everyone keeps telling me, "enjoy the quiet time now!"
Hubs got breakfast in bed again, I clipped coupons,
then we ventured out in the rain to the mall for a few items...
{I am so tired of the same outfits,
but it's so hot and I don't want to spend more $$ on maternity clothes until fall/winter!}
We ended our day with grilling steaks and I made a nice salad.
I sort of redeemed my awful craving?!
We had some nasty storms, so by 7:30 I was snuggled in bed
watching the Kardashians and Joe played Call of Duty.
Our weekend was the perfect amount of lounge time & doing things.
I cannot remember the last time we were able to just chill like that.
How was your weekend??
