My Weekend Update

Hello lovelies!
How was your weekend?
I made the best I could out of mine,
as my hardworking hubby is working so much lately.
It's their annual Fall Tent Event so he won't have a day off until Friday...
They're all in a large tent, in a mall parking lot, and have no heat!!
He literally got home Saturday night at 9:30,
and after freezing all day,
he built our first fire to just warm up for a bit.
Holly loves the fire!
He's been layering with Under Armor and using his hunting hand warmers.
I'll bring him up a hot lunch today.
As for how I've stayed busy?
Oh yah know,
caught up on this season's Glee
[I'm loving that Rachel & Kurt are off in NYC and Kate Hudson is my hero haha j/k]

I met with my college girlfriend Ann on Saturday for our annual shopping trip.
We live about 2 1/2 hours away from each other,
so we try to meet halfway.
We've been total slackers and haven't seen each other since last December!!
So it was long over due, and I missed her.
Jammin on my way there...
We had so much fun!
Soup & Salad combo at the OG
super sales at Baby GAP, Children's Place
I may have added a cute pair of ballet flats
to Baby Girl's ever-growing shoe collection:
Aaaand my first trip to Ulta.
::::cue heavenly ahhhhhhhhhh sound:::::
My first purchase:
Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette
Which everyone apparently owned on instagram but me!
I am so happy with this buy.
And from the sounds of it, everyone else who has it loves it too!
I wore it yesterday to meet up with my friend Kristin {a makeup guru}
and she even complimented me!
Woo hoo.
I just love the silly inappropriate names too.
I met up with K yesterday and we caught a matinee--
so cheesy and fun:

After the movie, hubs was on his way home from work...
So when I got home, he had another fire built!
We snuggled and watched the 49ers crush the local favorite team, the Bills.
I made stuffed shells.
He played Madden.
I watched addicting pregnancy & mommy vlogs.
We called it a night.
Tomorrow is my man's birthday!
He works all day, but I plan on making him a special dinner.
All he wants is to be home.
All the money in the world cannot buy the love and happiness we have for each other.
I work very hard at making our home peaceful, happy, and calming.
I am so blessed to be with such a wonderful man.
Remember to hold your loved ones tighter and never let anyone take your happiness away.

  4. Love baby girls' new shoes!! I need to try that eye palette and I'm dying to see that movie! However, with how busy my Oct/Nov is, it will probably wait until it hits redbox.

  5. I would totally love a fireplace with nice toasty fires! But I wear oxygen, and well that isn't a great idea. lol I've needed to turn the heat on, though, which stinks!! My boyfriend and I shook our heads watching the Bills get creamed. *sigh* Sounds like you had a great weekend! :)

  10. Those are some rough hours your husband is having to put in :( Good thing he has you and all of that delicious food to come home to! ;) Those fires look soooo cozy, and I am already obsessed with baby girl's shoe collection! She is going to be soooo well-dressed (totally unsurprising!).
