I love my long blonde hair.
I loathe taking care of it!!
It's really thick.
Dry shampoo does nothing for me.
It takes me 25 minutes to blow-dry.

ReplyDeleteLayers! Definitely add layers. I think side swoop bangs would be WAY cute, but you have to decide if you want to deal with bangs. Sometimes I cut bangs on girls who think they want them, then they hate the "maintenance" of them.
ReplyDeletelots lots of layers and side bangs.. look up gretchan rossi fro oc housewives and she has pretty hair with lots of layers!!! it will cut your dry time in half!! i like the Jessica Simpson hair pic..

I say add some layers and texturizing. I have massively thick hair also, and they can take some of the weight out without it "looking" like it with texturizing. That'll help with your blow dry time, too! Good luck! Share pics after your cut!

I know the feeling. I got tired of my hair and cut it to my shoulders 2 months ago and I am begging for it to grow out, but i do love my side swept bangs. I will keep those but will add layers once it grows a bit. All those pics are sexy. I can't wait to see the results.

ReplyDeleteMy advice on bangs is, they always seem fun at the time and then two weeks later you end up hating them...or maybe that is just me!
I think you'd look gorgeous with some side swept bangs! You have beautiful hair as it is though! I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to have thick and long locks!
ReplyDeleteI have long, thick, blonde hair too. I like to keep it in long layers with a side bang and it framing around my face. It takes a lot of the heaviness out of it but I do have to make to sure to keep up with it.
ReplyDeleteThis post is right up my alley! I just went from baby blonde to brunette and I am going tomorrow for blonde highlights. This hooker needs a highlight, ya heard? I think I am going to do a few long layers past my shoulders. My hair is long like yours, and I just think it has more body and volume with some layers. I always say I have blonde dysmorphic disorder cuz I would sometimes look in the mirror and think I wasn't blonde enough and people would be like, you are cray cray! you look like a girl next door! (I miss that show, fyi). Anyway, I say long layers, no bangs, they are evil and I regret mine. You are gorge and I wish I had your hair stylist! What a perfect execution on your wedding hair! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHey girl! I know exactly how you feel! My hair is soooo thick and it takes me over 30 mins to dry it! I always keep layers in it or it falls flat. I say totally go for the layers and side swept bang! Im loving the Jessica Simpson hair style. Cant wait to see what you decide!

ReplyDeletegood just wanted to make sure your hair change didn't mean change the color i love your color never change it!! i love layers are a good way to change your hairstyle easily and make bangs, see if your hairstylist can do a test on you first before you actually cut it!
