Bonjour Twenty-Twelve!!!

Happy New Year!
I am so excited to be starting it off with all of you!
I figured I'd share how we rang in the New Year...
We stayed in, but seriously had one of the best meals I have ever eaten.
This was the first NYE we spent alone.
It was perfect.
The Menu:
Appetizers:
Smoked Gouda Cheese {Holland}
Rosemary Olive Oil Crackers
Pre-Dinner Cocktail:
Skinnygirl White Cranberry Cosmo w/Fresh Raspberries
Salad:
Spinach & Field Greens
Gorganzola
Carrots
Green Onion
Pear
Baby Bella Mushrooms
Candied Pecans
Good Seasons Italian Dressing
 Lemon Risotto with shredded Lobster
I used this recipe and didn't use lemon cups but we added the meat
of 2 grilled lobster tails.
Rosemary, garlic & olive oil rubbed grilled Porterhouse Steaks

We then sat down, in comfy clothes, enjoying our feast!
It was seriously better than any restaurant could have served.
There were many leftovers in which we enjoyed for lunch today. 
Our after dinner dessert/drink was a
Champagne Sorbet
And I enjoyed some champagne while I relaxed.
And Hubs played Modern Warfare 3.
It was perfection.
I hope to hear about all the exciting times out and about.
What sequins were worn & silly stories can be shared?
