Ooey Gooey Chocolate Butter Cookies

  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 organic egg
  • 1 teaspoon of organic vanilla extract
  • 1 box of moist {dark} chocolate cake mix
  • Confectioners' sugar
    • Ingredients should all be room temp

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl with your mixer, cream the cream cheese and butter until smooth.  Beat the egg.  Beat in the vanilla.  Add the cake mix.  {You're supposed to cover & refrigerator--2hrs, I may have stuck it in the freezer for about 20 mins!}
Roll out the batter into small balls and roll them in the sugar.

Place on a non-stick ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake for 12ish minutes.


Cookies will reamin soft & gooey, be sure to cool completely before moving.

Add additional sugar if desired.
